Gold Rush in Canada. Team Pokercode Crew Hunts Millions in May

In the mid-1800s, adventurers from around the world flocked to Canada in search of gold, fortune, and fame. While these times are long-gone, our very own Pokercode crew is on their way to Canada for a new kind of rush - not with pickaxes and pans, but with laptops, HUDs, and world-class strategy.

Our s00n crew, founded by Fedor Holz & Pokercode Coach Manuel a.k.a. ‘Phemo’, is heading to Vancouver for the full month of May to play the GG World Festival and other big online series. With more than $250 Million in guaranteed prize money, our crew is not just aiming to win big, but also investing more than two million dollars over the course of the month.

The series in May is one of the most important times of the year for every serious poker player, and with millions on the line, it's only natural that our crew is looking to shape the perfect environment to perform. 

“The series is a marathon, and endurance is one of the difference makers. Our house here offers everything we need to perform” says Pokercode Veteran and Grindhouse 3 participant Tobi ‘Tobsen’ Eichenseher after arrival. 

With 5 bedrooms, a pool, and other amenities, the Team will be operating in the perfect setting to make sure they’re able to perform at their best at the tables.

Another important aspect is nutrition. For this reason the boys have flown in their own private Chefs from Germany to support them. “Christian and Martina will help us with the right meals. We'll be playing for 10+ hours on most days, so having a trusted allie on that front helps us a lot” says Hannes Jeschka, who regularly streams his high stakes adventures on our twitch channel. “And it's absolutely delicious” adds Samuel Mullur - the young shooting star from Austria. 

It's self-speaking that Christian is also a long-term member of Team Pokercode. “I've known Samu ever since we played small tournaments in Europe together. Being able to help the crew with their journey is also a great experience for me” adds Christian ‘Kosi’ Kosinski. 

But who are all the players joining in Canada? 

Branded as the #s00n crew, the team mainly consists of long-term Pokercode members. Working closely with Fedor, they are now playing the highest stakes available, playing and winning the biggest tournament both live and online. 

Notable mentions are Tobi Eichenseher, Samuel Mullur, Fabian Niederreiter, and Hannes Jeschka. New in the crew is Sigfried Kapeller. He’s been in Pokercode's Grindhouse 3 together with plenty of the other members of the group.
