The Pokercode coaching roster is growing. We are thrilled to officially welcome Hannes Jeschka to the team as our newest coach. While many of you already know him as a long-standing member of the Team Pokercode community and a key part of Fedor’s #s00n coaching group, we are now excited to have him join the coaching ranks.
Hannes is hitting the ground running with his first session on January 20th, and it is set to be a massive start. Fresh off a victory in the $10k GG Million$ just a few weeks ago for over $440,000, Hannes will be joined by special guest Fedor Holz. Together, they will look back at his path to the top and break down the strategy behind his recent high-stakes success.
Hannes’ passion for gaming started early. Growing up in a family that loved board games and Skat, he was introduced to poker by his uncle at the age of 12 or 13. What began with watching EPT replays on YouTube and playing for play money at his grandmother’s house eventually turned into a serious pursuit once he turned 18.
For his 18th birthday, his uncle gifted him a trip to King’s Casino. "I immediately realized that live poker suited my interests even more than playing online," Hannes recalls. This passion followed him to Australia for a year after he finished school. “I started playing cash games five to six times a week to support my travels abroad." This was his first real taste of the professional grind.
As his development was heavily influenced by watching Fedor Holz’s play in televised tournaments, joining Pokercode was a "no-brainer" once the project was announced.
“I joined Pokercode at the very beginning. I still remember when we only had around 20 active members in the community with the likes of Paul Zehenleitner and Sebastian Schulze. With some of them, I am still working until this day: Curtis Knight, and many others who are now playing some of the highest stakes available”.
After being an active member of our community for several years, Hannes successfully applied to become part of #s00n — Fedor’s personal coaching team.
“This is definitely the most professional environment I’ve worked in. There is a reason why pretty much all of us are successfully playing high stakes these days. In my coaching, I am excited to share insights into how we approach the game as a crew. I’ve faced similar challenges to many of our members in the past and received help here at Team Pokercode. That’s exactly what I want to provide to our members as well.”

When he isn't playing poker, Hannes is an avid sportsman. Surfing is his number one hobby, followed by Skating and Padel. He also enjoys playing board games with his friends in Vienna. “We’ve got an amazing community here and I love to be active, get outside, and just enjoy life when not playing. It’s important to enjoy life outside of poker”
His ultimate goal? "To become one of the best in the world", with a WSOP Bracelet and a Triton Trophy firmly in his sights.
We cannot wait to follow his progress! Join Hannes and Fedor Holz on January 20th for the debut session. We look forward to seeing you there.
