The WSOP 2021 Online schedule is finally here for August’s WSOP Online at Pokercode by GGPoker!

We’ve been anticipating the 33-event series since April 1st, when it was initially announced. Even better, the series is already underway for a full week since August 1st with the first gold bracelets already awarded. Bartlomiej "chester20o" Swieboda managed to take down Event #1: $50 “The Return” - $1,000,000 GTD for an incredible return on investment, taking home $161,919!

Bracelets will be up for grabs until Sunday, September 12, with buy-ins starting as low as $50 for the aforementioned opening event of the series.

On the other end of the buy-in spectrum, the series also features High Roller events with buy-ins of $10K and $25K with another $10K heads-up event to go along with it. Of course, there are plenty of events in between that will offer potentially life-changing payouts too, and we will highlight those below.

The Biggest Events of the WSOP 2021 Online

Not every tournament in the 2021 WSOP Online comes with a guaranteed prize pool, but that also might not be necessary given the allure of being able to win a gold bracelet in a single night from the comfort of your own home. Of course, all tournaments with guarantees have seven-figure amounts attached to them.

The first of those, as already mentioned was Event #1, which was a two-day event featuring a $50 buy-in and a whopping $1 million guaranteed prize pool. The unique $200 Flip & Go tournament starts on Sunday, August 8th, at 9.05 p.m. CEST. In total, 13 of the 33 events come with accompanying guarantees:

  • Event #1: $50 “The Return” - $1,000,000 GTD (already wrapped up)
  • Event #6: $200 Flip & Go - $1,000,000 GTD
  • Event #7: $1,500 Millionaire Maker - $5,000,000 GTD and $1M GTD for 1st
  • Event #11: $10,000 Super MILLION$ High Roller - $5,000,000 GTD
  • Event #12: $1,000 Double Stack - $4,000,000 GTD
  • Event #16: $1,050 WSOP GGMasters HR Freezeout - $2,000,000 GTD
  • Event #17: $400 PLOSSUS - $1,000,000 GTD
  • Event #21: $25,000 Super High Roller Championship - $5,000,000 GTD
  • Event #22: $400 COLOSSUS - $3,000,000 GTD
  • Event #27: $5,000 MAIN EVENT - $20,000,000 GTD
  • Event #31: ¥815 WSOP Zodiac Autumn Festival - ¥2,888,888 GTD
  • Event #32: $210 WSOP Bounty Double MILLION$ - $2,000,000 GTD
  • Event #33: $500 The Closer - $2,021,000 GTD

WSOP Main Event Features $20 Million Guarantee

The 2021 Online WSOP Main Event on Pokercode Powered by GGPoker has a $5,000 buy-in for the second straight year and will see a $20 million guaranteed prize pool alongside its name.

Players will have plenty of opportunities to compete in the Main Event beginning as early as Sunday, August 22. Each day thereafter will offer a single flight, with 18 in total including a final turbo flight on Sunday, September 5 just before the Final Day takes place later that evening.

Such an attractive guarantee should be attainable, however, with the event ultimately setting its sights on outdrawing 2020’s total of 5,802 entries for an overall prize pool of $27,559,500, the largest in online poker history. Nonetheless, multiple million-dollar payouts should be awarded from the Online Main Event, with all final table participants likely looking at comfortable six-figure earnings.
